NATIONAL MUSEUM of KOREAN LITERATURE
The simplicity and clarity of the structure forms a neutral basis for the
reception of the program. The order and structure are recognizable from the outside. Mass, construction and movement
are rendered. The building is a precise parallelepiped of total abstraction. Yet the volume is not solid, its boundaries
evanescent. The building seems hermetic, yet allows us to glimpse into its interior. Changing by day and night. Almost
mathematical, yet narrative. The building is both technical and poetical. It is of absolute clarity and precision, yet
remains mysterious and cryptic.
